  2. I’d love to hear the mechanism by which you “burn” plaque out of your arteries. Your guest is the only person I’ve heard suggest that can be done

    • Yeah. His comment about needing to train your body to burn fat suggests he might think it’s only possible with a high fat diet (or at least intermittent fasting), which i havent seen evidence for yet but it’s been shown by Ornish it can be done with whole food plant based nutrition too.

  3. So strange, on “the proof” a TRT expert was saying that the associated increase n estrogen with TRT may be responsible,for all the great effects. Apparently subjects were given TRT then estrogen killing drugs and the effects of TRT were muted. Seems reasonable to me .. pre menopausal women have significantly lower heart disease than age matched men. Seems as soon an estrogen drops heart disease increases …

    • I wouldn’t worry about it. With the attention span you seem to have, you would likely not have the discipline to make the lifestyle changes necessary anyway.

      Also, the dude posted the dang time stamps right here in the comments. Did you even look before posing? Your lack of attention span and impatience to get to the next movie trailer or video game clip probably didn’t help you there either.

  4. The podcast title is “how to remove microplastics from the body”. The majority of this podcast is “how to avoid microplastics”, which is something most of us watching are already aware of.

    According to the guest, the methods to remove microplastics from the body include using a sauna, exercising, and exposing oneself to sunlight, which can promote sweating.

    However, very little was said about the fate of microplastics embedded in fat cells. When fat is metabolized for energy, it’s not clear how the enclosed microplastics are expelled from the body.

    Simply burning fat doesn’t necessarily eliminate microplastics, as they might be released into the bloodstream and relocated within the body.

    Will antioxidants and chelators help capture these microplastics? potentially using supplements like activated charcoal or chlorella in conjunction with sauna use.

    The instructions and mechanisms were not well-defined, leaving uncertainties about the efficacy and process of these methods. Was expecting more from this guest

  5. So many details regarding the mechanisms of extraction missing. Unfortunately this dude left more questions than answers regarding the actual video title.

  6. Breakfast skipping greatly increased mortality and disease in this study. They adjusted for several cofounding factors: age, sex, history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus Body mass index ,Smoking status . Alcohol status , Education level, Exercise level. Sleep duration, Work – day shift, night shift, or shift work. After adjusting for confounding factors, skipping breakfast significantly increased the risk of mortality from circulatory diseases [hazard ratio (HR) = 1.42] and all causes (HR = 1.43) in men and all causes mortality (HR = 1.34) in women

  7. God it gets on my nerves when people say “feeding.” You’re not a pet snake or a vampire. Just say eating.

  8. Good and healthy way to clear some of it is to do PRP monthly. So you can do it for your hair or skin, you will inject the growth factors anyway and even if you still have some particles, you still got rid of through the filtered blood part. Also drawing blood monthly in this sort of manner is probably contribute to anti aging also by getting rid of axcess iron. not discussed much about it but women’s benefit in terms of aging exists as long as they get their cycles. Men might live as long as women if they get blood drawn monthly until menopause age range the same way. Altough this is not well researched but one day it will be.

So on the one hand, he says that our bodies did not evolve to handle or dispose of plastics, but on the other hand, he lists a long list of things that “break up” and remove plastics (sunshine, exercise, sweating, intermittent fasting etc..) What is he basing these claims on? How on Earth would autophagy dispose of microplastics? Autophagy is when a cell recycles its own parts. What does this have to do with disposing of microplastics, which are outside of cells?

    • Having evolved to encounter certain stressors and being able to eliminate them is not mutually exclusive. We know from studies the body can excrete many chemicals, including BPA via sweat. Autophagy also occurs outside of cells as there are many different types of autophagy such as virophagy and xenophagy of bacteria so it’s not out of the realm of possibility there’s some response to microplastics

    • @@SiimLand Just seems kind of vague and hypothetical. Specifically his claim that IF is effective at removing microplastics. I wish he had gone more into the specific mechanisms and/or discussed some studies (if there are any.) We don’t even know if short-term IF has any significant effects on autophagy.

      The presence of BPA in sweat doesn’t necessarily mean that sweating “removes” microplastics from our tissues. It might just mean that sweat contains microplastics just like many other tissues in the body. It doesn’t mean that sweating removes meaningful amounts of them from tissues, arteries, fat cells, etc.

      It’s like if they found that saliva contains microplastics (which it probably does) and so somebody concluded that we should be spitting a lot to “remove” them from our system.

      Also his claim that being in a sauna “speeds up” cellular processes is pretty thin, and make me question his calculus. Sure, technically that’s true, but is the minor increase in movement for 20-30 minutes really going to move the needle for processes that are presumably already occurring at a given speed around the clock? Maybe maybe not, but it seems like he’s just using armchair logic.
