Today, I’m going to share some of the amazing benefits of dry fasting and water fasting There are over 50 genes that protect us from famine and drought and produce many health benefits. Fasting can help you lose weight, burn fat, and live longer. It helps improve cardiovascular health and can improve your blood sugars.

A study involving birds compared birds who ate food and drank water, birds who only drank water, and birds who were essentially dry fasting as they flew across the desert. The group of dry-fasting birds generated 6 times more water than the group of birds that drank water! The dry-fasting birds also burned more fat.

When fat is burned with oxygen from the air, it turns into water. The idea that we need massive amounts of water was developed from a campaign that terrified us of dehydration! You don’t need to overdo it with water; you just need to drink when you’re thirsty.

Dry fasting is a useful tool for weight loss, but you want to ensure you do it correctly for the most fasting benefits. Follow a low-carb diet for a while before trying dry fasting. Once your body is adapted to fat burning, you’ll find that fasting is much easier.

Try water fasting before attempting dry fasting. If you’re water fasting, you can consume water, electrolytes, supplements, and sea salt. If you’re dry fasting, you don’t consume anything.

One day of dry fasting is equal to three days of water fasting! Dry fasting turns off digestion and allows the kidneys time to rest, allowing your body to switch into repair mode.

After your fast, begin eating gradually, starting with liquids. Kefir and bone broth are good choices to break your fast.

    Thank you Dr Berg!

  2. Amazing video and your sarcasm is spot on! When I was bad with covid couldn’t eat for a few days, did dry fasting for half a day then drank diluted ACV with fresh lemon juice, had light foods like some yogurt, chicken broths, slept a lot, dropped off weight and recovered quickly. Thanks, Dr Berg 👍🏻

  3. Thanks Dr Berg.
The more we learn about the human body, the more evident it becomes that we were created, and not evolved from a big bang. Seek God while He may be found.

    • Your gOD should come and help humanity instead of hiding like a coward in texts. But he can’t. It’s been 2000 years since his last messenger walked the earth, according to the fairytale

    • @@ollonskall3 That’s not how it works. Your post is sorta out of a lack of comprehension. God does not intervene, it’s up to you to make the proper choices and to pray for others (not necessarily yourself). It’s not “hiding”, it’s allowing freedom of choice, consequence and growing closer.

    • @@ollonskall3 Your choice not to believe, it’s a free country. I find it equally facepalming that you don’t. To each his own.

  4. Any time I fast, I dry fast, usually for 2 days. Whilst I never feel thirsty during this time, if I were to, I would of course have a drink.

  5. When we visit our orphanages in Africa, we see the natives only drink once or twice a day because it’s so difficult to get water. They’ve been doing that forever.

  6. Dry fast for me is a no go I always talk nonsense when i dont drink water and dehydrated

    • Dr. Dunning says you can keep hydrated by soaking in your tub, pool, etc. not drinking the water.

  7. Interesting to see how dry fasting is beneficial for the body. As a Muslim who fasts during of of Ramadan I can attest to it’s benefits.

    • The problem is when you break your fasting into sweatiest ever food the planet has and it happens most of the times at night. That is reverse fasting!

  8. It’s a war, and those companies profiting figured out long ago how to profit on both sides: food and drink.
Dry fasting should be done with rest, sleep and some meditation.
