  1. I found that when you puree one cup of cottage cheese and one package of Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix, it makes a great salad dressing. The plus, plus, is that you are getting added protein.

  3. Romaine leaves can be used to make a lot of different meals. Leftover steak sliced thin w/ some cheese ,peppers, onions & mayo ,or my favorite, my canned salmon mixed w/ onion & olive oil mayo & black olives. You can also make cheeseburger boats w/ Romaine.

  4. My favorite dessert, which I have almost every day is Greek yogurt mixed up with half a scoop of Orgain chocolate protein powder and a tablespoon of homemade nutella over some frozen strawberries. Holy moly, it’s divine😍

    • Yes 🎉 I love plain Greek yogurt with chocolate ( I use the one from Autumn Bates ) protein so good and top with roasted coconut flakes or almonds. I make my own Nutella too but haven’t try it on top so yogurt. Thanks for the idea

  6. I started eating cottage cheese again because of you Mayra! I originally got it for my husband to help him gain some weight, but he hated it, so not to waste it… I started to eat it. Wow! It’s so yummy. I tried the one with the pineapple that you suggested from Kroger’s and wow it’s yum! I sometimes add to plain yogurt, one of the great Trader Joe’s seasonings. So many choices. It’s definitely a great snack.

    I work at a big hotel in LV. They provide food, but I bring my own everyday. Doing this has helped me to keep losing weight and not be swayed to something that is not healthy. I only eat from their salad bar and bring my own things to add. And always bring my own extra virgin olive oil. Their dressings are made with vegetable oil.

    • You know cottage cheese is really low calorie. Just with thinking it would help hubby “gain” weight. Probably not the food for that. He could add extra carbs with fat to his meals for weight gain.
