  1. C.o.r.t.i.s.o.l.
I have tooo much stress and CANNOT lose wich adds to stress as well as depression I’m existing in. 😭

    • I have the same problem. I am trying a 3 day egg fast. I have found it good to help me withdrawal from a carb/sugar addiction. I am normally a carnivore due to having IBS

    • Same!! When I eat a ton of refined carbs, the cakes sweets and things I love, but when I have sweet potatoes, veggies and protein and SLEEP oof the FAT melted! & not one craving!

    • @@brianna56ism have you done egg fast before. If so how did you make out. I’m on day 3 of my first ever egg fast.

    • @@nancylovescookie2875 no I have not done it before. I finished 3 days yesterday and don’t seem to have lost weight. I will go back to carnivore And try to eat less.

  2. 2 things you didn’t mention why ppl don’t lose weight
    1. Stress!! When you’re under stress… you’ll gain weight
    2. Women over 35 … make sure get your hormones checked bcuz hormone levels are extremely important in perimenopause & beyond

  3. One idea no one asked for:

For me, it was being on lexapro. After I starting it, I gained 30 lbs in 3 months. I brought it up to my doctor & she assured me it was not related. So I continued on this medication for SEVEN YEARS. Finally after years of unexplained sickness, headaches, inflammation, & so much more, I took a genetic test that showed me that of its class, lexapro was THE WORST for my body. Got off & lost 50 lbs in one year after my body finally detoxed. All I can say is thank you Lord!!!!

  4. I’m so satisfied with high protein & fat and am full longer but when I have carbs, I eat most of them right before I go into CrossFit class!
And then I’m not craving carbs after my workout.
This was an intuitive move for me but thankful for the confirmation from your video! ❤️

  5. “Short term sacrifice for long term benefit” is my new motto! Thank you! 💛 If you have any tips for counting calories while making meals with a lot of ingredients, I would love to know! Thanks again 😊

  6. Yes for me consistency is the most difficult part. I’ve done it a few times especially since becoming a mom and being on my own most of the time, where I’ll be committed for a couple weeks but then I lose that motivation when things get hard/stress sets in and it’s easier to just eat whatever. I’m definitely a stress eater as well. This time I am trying my best to work out, stay in a calorie deficit and eat wholesome foods/eliminate fast food & junk food and that includes keeping that stuff out of the house as much as possible. I know I have to stay consistent to actually see a change and I know I owe it to myself and my little one to be the healthiest version of me that I can be. Your videos and recipes have been helpful (subscribed) and I am still learning about foods I can put together that will help me through this journey, thank you for the motivation!!

  7. Thank you so much!! God bless you!! You’ve been such a big help! When I was pregnant with my daughter I had gestational diabetes but I was able to diet control it through eating low carb! I’m almost 5 months postpartum and still living the low carb LIFESTYLE! I feel so good!!! The weight is melting off! I also have your cookbook! ❤❤❤

This video just ended my trips to Smoothie King! I just looked up the nutrition facts on the “ healthy” smoothies… I’ll just continue making them from home!

Thank you for all you do!!!!!!❤

  8. Thanks for the video, this is stuff ppl need to hear over and over because we get complacent and we think we’ve got this. It’s like a reality check to hear this information.

  9. Yes, when I eat unhealthy carbs I crave more carbs. I also know that eating healthy protein keeps me more satisfied and I crave less. I knew in middle school that breads made me feel bloated. I finally learned about gluten and began watching and feeling better. My motto…… If I want to see a change, I have to make a change. Whenever I need a “reset” I remind myself of my motto. Thank you for all your tips, advice and knowledge!!

  10. Almost 33 and was diagnosed with pre diabetes. Enough was enough. I’ve lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Cut out sugar, processed foods, Started intermittent fasting, working out, and eating very low carb. I feel great! This is going to be my new lifestyle. I DO NOT want type 2 diabetes. I love your channel, Myra! Your meals are amazing!! I go back in December to check my A1C. Praying it’s in the normal range.

It’s way more expensive to eat healthier, but I rather spend money on GOOD food than diabetic medication.

    • Depends on how you look at it , it could be more costly buying medications for illnesses brought on by bad diet or even worse hospitalisation so in the end I think healthy foods are still cheaper in the long run.

  11. Was doing fine, but have two sproker spaniels and yesterday ate everything I should not eat. Still walking dogs regularly but they drain me some day’s with energy. I have lost one stone since last year. Must perseve. Thanks for your advice 🎉
