DATA:

Gluten is the only protein that humans can not digest. Over the years, we’ve added more and more gluten to the diet, which has increased gut inflammation.

Just because a food is gluten-free does not make it healthy! Processed gluten-free foods are loaded with seed oils, sugars, and starches. Gluten can destroy the gut, but so can refined starches and sugars. Good bacteria prefer fiber, but bad bacteria thrive on sugar and starches. Consuming processed gluten-free foods can create an overgrowth of harmful bacteria.

When bad bacteria breaks down and dies, it releases a toxic byproduct that can lead to inflammation in the liver, a fatty liver, and skin issues like dermatitis.

Chemicals, enzymes, and acids are used to remove the gluten from the grain in processed gluten-free foods, creating a more highly refined product.

Gluten-free foods are low in protein, which can lead to over-eating. They can also cause SIBO, inflammation, and leaky gut. Gut health directly contributes to your mental health, so this can lead to moodiness, lowered emotions, anxiety, and depression.

Read the ingredients in gluten-free products or focus on consuming whole foods like meat and vegetables. If the fiber from vegetables makes things worse, try the carnivore diet for some time.

  1. I can walk up steps now, I can pick up something that I drop. For some years now.. my doctors asked me to go to physical therapy or have surgeries done on my knees. but after getting into ketosis 98% of my pain is gone and my body is not telling me something is wrong with me anymore Thank you Doctor

  2. This video breaks down some serious myths about gluten-free products. It’s eye-opening to learn that “gluten-free” doesn’t always mean healthier! From starches like corn and rice flour loaded with carbs to sneaky ingredients like GMOs, seed oils, and refined sugars, it’s clear that these alternatives might be hurting our gut just as much. Plus, the insight into gut health affecting our skin and mood really connects the dots. A huge thanks for shedding light on this overlooked side of “health” foods—definitely a reminder to look past labels and prioritize whole foods!

    • The food industry relies on an ignorant population. They know most people aren’t going to research this stuff and will eat out of convenience. The USDA and FDA need new leadership. Too corrupt.

  3. “Blessing In Disguise” when I was diagnosed diabetic(2) and my drug pusher Doc was so willing to push all the meds. I said NO I went home to study and all the research diabetes. I discovered Dr. Berg and a few others. I have been gluten free for over 3 years and diabetes free, pain free for 3 years and gluten free is one of the components. I love being reminded as to why I have been saved. Dr. Berg this is a wonderful VID and THANK YOU so very much.

    • @@ordinarypeteKeep watching videos by Dr Berg and others. The health information is available. We all need to do our own diligence, and seek out the information.

  4. Make a habit of NOT eating anything that has any ingredients other than what your aim of product is. Take salt for example. If the container of salt that you aim to purchase doesn’t list “salt” as the sole ingredient then do NOT purchase it. I just learned as of late they have added something that is supposed to prevent clumping among other things.

Train yourself to not consume already made foods! DO NOT WALK the isles of the grocery stores. Make a list of fresh OR CANNED vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, water, tea perhaps…go directly to those items, check out and get out! View all other food items as poison and see your dollars going to the companies selling it.

  5. Thanks Dr. Berg, I recently found out I had gluten sensitivity and I was starting to think it was so odd that alot of brands promote gluten free now and I knew it wasn’t adding up because alot of these products did not have gluten free back in the day!!!

  6. I ate ‘healthy’ foods for years and couldn’t lose weight to save my life. I also had a big carb belly protruding. I ate foods like brown bread, brown pasta, brown rice and tons of grains – nada – until 2020, when I discovered this channel and began eating real foods (fatty meat and cruciferous green veg) and incorporated with intermittent fasting, I lost 103 pounds of bodyweight. I also got rid of prediabetes and joint inflammation. I’m into my 5th year now.

    • I did something similar. I gave up all refined carbs and rice. Also gave up on processed oils.
Not only did I lose the body fat but my diabetes went away and I feel so much better. More energy, more alert.

    • @@dallasarnold9197 Don’t worry. It might not be an issue for you right now. In 2020, it was an issue for me, because I knew that I was potentially prone to suffering a negative outcome during the height of the pandemic. But I’d definitely hang around the information and know that you had your finger on the pulse when your needs changed.

  7. There’s ABSOLUTELY nothing healthy in ANY of these processed foods! Folks need to stick with good meats, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, real butter, tallow, real milk etc. Thank you Dr. Berg! God bless all!

    • It’s hard to find and expensive. For average people, it’s damn near impossible to figure out what’s healthy when they’re allowed to flat out lie on the labels. My mom bought my kid some no-sugar-added apple sauce, but they HAD added sugar in the form of “pineapple extract” and added stevia. The no added sugar product has more sugar and extra additives.

    • @@BG-bx4ey Yes, they lie on labels. It’s hard on many people, I know but.. you have to find a way. If you don’t have your health, you don’t have much or anything. There are certain things you can grow in your home, make certain sacrifices for better meats and veg etc.

    • @@birdsofafeather1637 Understood but grains are just a small part of the big picture. You can get what you need with meat, fruit, veg, beans etc if grains are a problem.

    • Yes – provided you have no allergies, like lactose intolerance, gluten- and fructose allergy, allergy against nuts and eggs. If so, you have to skip all the foods you mention, I immediately get diarrhea if I eat them. The newest problem is that I cannot digest meat any more, no matter wether it is beef or pork. So I have to stick to gluten free products – I am quite aware that gluten-free does not mean healthy, but while doing sports every day, I have to cover my calorie needs; when cycling I burn around 800kcal per hour, and with having 137 lbs at 5.8 ft, there is barey body fat to burn.

  8. The best I have ever felt in my life is when I ate farm fresh beef, trout I caught on the fly, chickens I raised, eggs I raised, and food I grew. I was even making my own tea from rose hips and mint off my property. I’m currently working on getting back to that lifestyle. Still looking for property to purchase. Last few years property got difficult to find

  9. BACK AWAAAAY from the cereal and bread aisles people! I gave up all grain products years ago when the gluten free craze started and I’m so much healthier, energetically and mentally. And we HAVE TO read the labels on every packaged product!

  10. God bless you, doctor! I could cry. You help so many people and you have helped our household. I have been able to ween myself off blood pressure medication, that I was taking for 15 years. I feel great and I’m probably the healthiest I have ever been. Thank you.❤🙏🏽🙏🏽☺️

  11. Here in Canada some yogurt companies are putting cornstarch in their yogurt. Yogurt with cornstarch is not real yogurt. It is so important to read the nutritional labels.

  12. Thanks Dr berg. I haven’t been able to lose belly fat for over a year. Despite doing carnivore and ketovore and fasting. Sprints. 100000000 miles of walking 😂

Because of your videos, I realised I have a fatty liver and bile deficiency (bile sludge)

In just a week of taking Tudca and your gallbladder formula, my belly fat has significantly lowered! Finally!! Incredible.

I’m no longer hungry all the time. I think I’m finally in ketosis.

It used to feel like I had a stone in my core. It’s gone. I feel so light in my centre now.

Makes sense why I’m deficient in fat vitamins. I’m now taking 20k iu D3 to heal.

    Thank you so much!

    ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    • That is good to hear and Bergs supplements probably sped up the healing process. But the carny diet will eventually do the same thing. I am lucky to have a place near me that has organic grass fed and finished beef. 3 months ago I started eating only beef, salt and water. I decided to cut out everything and let the body start working on the stubborn fat. In 3 months I have definition in my stomach, legs, butt. I’m 55 female that had two knee replacements and was 50 lbs overweight. I walk/job around my property and do push up and sit ups. The new carny adjustments are toning my body up with energy.

  13. I’m so glad you posted this video. I recently bought on line a box of “keto friendly” cereal by General Mills that is full of corn. Why do companies think it’s ok to lie to us? My fault for not researching it more before I bought it. Things have to change.

    • It is just so easy to think your eating healthier. It is difficult to see the truth. I don’t like to cook and I am not good at it – easier to grab off the shelves.
We are tricked nevermind the lies told to reinforce this. For example, eating low fat.

  14. I have read many books, I listened to many Youtube videos by many of the world’s leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to the hidden herbs by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.

  15. I stay away from all processed foods…
I try my best to only shop on the perimeter of the store, fresh fruits and veggies, meat aisle, and dairy.
Whenever I had a cheat day I felt terrible the next day so I started making my own treats from scratch.
My gut is so much healthier!!
Thank you doc for your videos! 😊

  16. The LIES and DECEIT on these labels need to be a criminal offense, because IT IS crimes against humanity.

  17. You are not kidding! Someone protect this man! He knows exactly what he’s talking about. I picked up a box of something that claimed to have all this protein and stuff, and then a tiny print bioengineered.😮

  18. After my husbands triple by pass the Heart and stroke recommended Cheerios for him to eat and margarine instead of butter. I asked why margarine and was told because Becel supports them . What a crock of 💩. We only use butter, sometimes its salted, ,most times not. As for the Cherrios, I feed it to the birds and squirrels!
