  2. Have you done a Kraft style insulin survey? Where they measure both fasting insulin and glucose, give you a sugary drink, then measure insulin and glucose a few times over the next several hours? That seems to be the best way to measure metabolic health, and can catch dysfunction earlier than a1c…. And won’t just “hide” dysfunction like avoiding carbs can do.

    Seems like your metabolic health is insanely good btw. Do you think metabolic dysfunction can be healed or only “managed”? Seems like there are differing opinions on that

    • I havent done that test. Metabolic health can certainly be recovered almost completely unless it’s some autoimmune condition

  3. Man – I haven’t seen ur videos for ages, and last time i saw u you looked less pale and seemed to have more mental clarity, better pronunciation, and looked way more energetic.

  4. Where do you find good CGMs? I’ve tried two different brands and neither was accurate or stayed functional for more than a week. My hemoglobin A1C is too high for my lifestyle and I’m trying to figure out what foods could be contributing since I eat super healthy, exercise, and strive for optimal sleep every night

    • @@touchdown947 I care about keeping my hair so much that I’m on oral dutasteride and oral minoxidil lol. Wish I got on fin or dut about 8 years earlier

  5. So is glucose goddess wrong about eating your fats before starchy/non fibrous carbs? Since you say combining carbs and fats is not ideal. Or is it mainly just a concern of combining carbs with saturated fat? And unsaturated fat is fine for combining with carbs

  6. Wow I feel like nearly every video u make is almost life changing, thank u siim. This basically convinced me to get carbs back in, I’ve been slowly eating more of them past year, fruit & purple sweet potatoes about 100g/day now but it sounds like I need to do more if I want to build muscle faster & now with this video, be more insulin sensitive, it makes perfect sense, best explanation I’ve ever heard thank u!
