Vitamin D is extremely important to our health. Thank you Dr Berg for always driving this home..
You’re absolutely welcome!
Thank you so much Dr. Berg for sharing this useful information!
I’m glad I could assist you.
I found taking 10,000 IU gave me constipation. I dropped the dose back to 5000. My last blood test number was 58.
Any suggestions ? I also take 400 mg of magnesium at nite.
Good question- let’s see if he actually answers
Hello there! The optimal range should be between 40 to 60 NGs/mL, indicating sufficient levels of this vital nutrient. A lower level, around 20 NGs/mL, might suggest a deficiency. The recommended version is vitamin D3 K2. Here is some additional information 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAfVC4l5uZ0
You know he’s answering q in his live program ? Check it out Bless you@@jonathanteixeira2320
Dr. Burg is my go 2 ..I share even to my TBI lady who was hurt
Thanks Dr Berg for the health tips.
You are most welcome, Dolores! Glad it helps!
I take between 5000 and 2000 units with K2 and magnesium every day. My levels are 99.9 on last check last month. When I took 5000 daily, my levels were 116. I think 10000 is too much. I think you should have your D levels checked quarterly and go to a naturopathic doctor to discuss your levels.
You’re absolutely right. Toxicity can result from high doses of Vit D. Testing is essential
I had 153 with taking like 2400
I agree with this. It is unfortunate that proactive monitoring is next to impossible in Canada. Doctors are only reactive. I agree with going to a naturopath though because they will actually get you the proper bloodwork, but for us Canadians, you have to pay for it if you go through a naturopath.
Another Canadian here. 10 years without a Dr. For seniors it is impossible to pay for Naturopath
My functional medicine Dr. recommends I keep my levels around 100 with autoimmune disease
😶 I realize this question may be out of your realm but I’m pregnant with my third child and I have been experiencing terrible back pain. I’m taking my prenatals with magnesium. I just can’t relieve my lower back pain. I’ve been stretching and changing the way I sleep but it only helped a little… What do I do?

Hi Dr Berg! My grandfather is 87 years old and has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that spread to the back and spine. Will Vitamin D help him in anyway? Can you please give any sort of advice.
Thanks for reaching out. There is a series of videos on prostate support. This one might be a good one to start getting information 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx42_D5bTas
for the magnesium it’s magnesium glycinate right?
Yes
Dr berg you saved my life. Thank you
What kind of magnesium.
Has anyone had allergy symptoms to Vitamin d3 in softgels form? I will be giving vitamin d3 a break to see if the facial swelling I’ve been experiencing goes away, but I will be getting back on them in tablet form. Any advice is welcome. Thanks ❤
Try an Emulsified D3/K2 sublingual drop!
I’ve also learnt that over exposure to Sunlight can enhance autoimmune symptoms to come on as well. Perhaps my case is specifically different but this happens with me
Vitamin D3 is so important. Thankful dr Berg for your wonderful sum up❤
How much K2 should we take?
Hi! The recommended ratio is 100 mcg of K2 per 10,000 IUs of D3. We always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before using this or any dietary supplement.
