  2. my dopamine is low and i feel numb for everything lately. any thoughts?
Yet you take chocolate so u get nicotine daily.
People can live over 110+, but habits slowly ☠ us a min. Just a few rough estimates to consider.
    🍟1 fry -1.5 minutes
    🍭1tsp sugar -1.6
    🍹1 drink -3
    🍔Junk food -7
    🚬1 cigarette -11
    💤<8hrs sleep -15
    🏋‍♂Skip gym -22
    💺Sit 1hour -22
    😟Stress -27
Total 1 year ♿-1 month GONE and most do 10 times that

    • so skipping a ca 1h gym workout will kill me 22mins earlier …so skipping the gym will give me 38 mins more lifetime right?

    • Some things do permanent damage, others can be fixed. You can get time back. You can’t get everything back from smoking for years, but assuming you don’t have cancer there is a good chance you can get back half of that loss, by staying clean for 7 or more years. Arteries will still have taken a hit. Lungs won’t be 100%. But quitting is certainly worth it. Skipping gym is not going to cause much harm that can’t be fixed. Same with sitting, unless you get a blood clot. Sugar is fine in moderation. We were designed to eat fruit, and that is full of sugar. Just avoid fatty liver from obesity, and chronic high glucose. “Junk food” is too vague. Avoid Advanced Glycation End-products, Oxysterols, Trans Fat, and neurotoxins like lead, Organophosphates, Saigon cinnamon, Licorice root, Fluoride, and hydrogenated anything. I am also dubious on palm oil, and coconut oil. Alcohol and tobacco obviously should be avoided.

  3. I just got unaddicted to nicotine for the umpteenth time. I couldn’t sleep a normal night. This is a trend that needs to stop. I welcome you to use nicotine multiple times daily for six months and then make this video. Nicotine is a neurotoxin.

    • 100% ! I finally quit after so long, I feel SO much better! There are also negative effects on the gums if you try to consume nicotine instead… overall it is a negative compound

    • I explicitly said nicotine is addictive and not beneficial for even cardiovascular health if used chronically. Doesn’t deny the fact that in acute doses it has some effects on the brain and cognition. And it doesn’t mean you have to take it

  4. Smoking kept workers awake. Now with a mysterious low sws problem I couldn’t figure out in 3 years now, not a good time to quit nicotine. Been without it, it’s not the problem.

  5. I’ve seen reports on the effects of nicotine on parasites…not a doctor so don’t know how valid that is

  6. Great video, thanks for highlighting both the benefits and risks of nicotine. Personally, even if the benefits were more obvious and significant, I wouldn’t consider trying it. I’ve heard many addicts say that nicotine is the hardest addiction for them to quit, and some never fully manage to stop. Given that the effects are still unclear and there are potential dangers, as you pointed out, it only makes me want to steer clear of it even more.

  7. With so many brain healthy substances without addiction, why would you even consider trying one that is addictive?

    • Its not addictive if you are sensible

Never a smoker, ive used low dose (1-3g) of nicotine spray or patch and dont use on holidays/weekends. Caffeine is far more addictive.

But nicotine is more addictive in higher doses – 1 Zyn can be 12mg

  8. Could you please speak a little slower? This is scientific stuff, and I want to understand it well, but you’re speaking so quickly, I constantly have to rewind the video

  9. It makes more sense to stimulate chlorogenic receptors with choline. I have been taking Choline Bitartrate for decades. Never had nicotine, but I suspect it is not the same. I don’t think my blood pressure goes up. I also take lecithin which also has choline, but that is more subtle, slower to take effect, and is longer acting. Lecithin is also more likely to increase muscle tone/muscle tension (which you may want to avoid if you are stressed or have muscle soreness). DMAE not to be confused with DHEA, is good for when your brain has to do complex sequential activities like calculation, typing, playing a musical instrument, or speaking. But choline and DMAE effect each other, so when used together, you need less DMAE for the same effect. Niacin, actual niacin not the anti-flush, helps with mental consistency (you can get flushing. I try to stay below my flushing threshold, which is about 166mg, but yours may be different). Niacin helps avoid the random dropouts (brain farts), which is great for speedchess, or bullet chess. You can’t just pause for a second to get your brain back up and running. Lots of things have smaller positive effects. PQQ, grape seed extract, phosphatidylserine, lion’s mane mushroom extract, salmon oil, vitamin B2, CoQ10, Alpha GPC, Fisetin, and Acetyl L-Carnitine. And small amounts of octacosanol are good for hand-eye coordination. Oh, and alfalfa juice powder is great for keeping visual stuff less tiring. These, I have found, yield actual mental performance, not mood stuff, or deluding you into thinking you are performing better.

  10. Nicotine is a terrible addiction. Worst addiction I had to give up. IMO it was the worst. I couldn’t think strait the withdrawals were so bad. Don’t even start is my opinion.
