Have you seen what Andrew Huberman did about melatonin?
I honestly think that the ease of modern life has increased lifespan but decreased the quality of health. People are built for physical stress and a more natural diet & environment.
Also, I think aging is a function of overall activity and not the other way around. The healthiest and oldest people I know never stop being active, having goals and moving.
I had body aches from the flu and I noticed that glycine actually diminished the pain, like I took a painkiller.
