Let’s talk about Sjogren’s syndrome and an interesting protocol I would do if I had Sjogren’s syndrome.

Sjogren’s syndrome is an autoimmune disease that is commonly mistaken for dry eyes or dry mouth. It’s a chronic problem that can progress and can affect the sinuses, gastrointestinal tract, lungs, kidneys, and nervous system.

It’s common for people with Sjogren’s syndrome to have other autoimmune diseases. There is also a lot of pain and fatigue and a high risk of lymphoma associated with Sjogren’s syndrome.

Women are more likely to have Sjogren’s syndrome than men. One cause of Sjogren’s syndrome is a genetic weakness that can become triggered by certain environmental factors. The trigger or stress factor is usually Epstein-Barr virus or cytomegalovirus brought out of remission from a stress event.

There is also some interesting research that suggests that this problem could be initiated in the gut. If you have an autoimmune disease or inflammatory disease, it’s crucial to get your diet on the right track.

The natural protocol for Sjogren’s syndrome that I would do addresses putting the immune system back in balance.

The best protocol for Sjogren’s syndrome:
1. Sweet wormwood
2. Broccoli sprouts (sulforaphane)
3. Sauerkraut
4. Vitamin D
5. Vitamin A (cod liver oil)
6. Black currant seed oil
7. Coconut oil
8. Cordyceps mushroom

  2. Omg how good are you …
    Exactly on point 💯
I’ve been to a million doctors (well not exactly a million, but it seems like it) & rheumatologists and only 1 picked this issue up over 20 yrs ago after so many blood tests. But they did not have a cure, only inflammatory drugs that kill your liver over long use. Thanks for the thumbs up 👍
    You’re AMAZING Dr Berg ♥️

  3. Thanks Dr Berg. I absolutely love your channel and I’ve shared so many of your knowledgable recordings. What would we do without you ❤

  4. My dear friend has an autoimmune disease. The building she was working in, was renovated and they were breathing in all the dust particles. Her health has never been the same again. I’m going to send her this video, thank you Dr. Berg. ❤

    • When I bought my 100 year old house I started by cleaning up the attic…it was full of garbage and clay and soil…
I got a gas mask, it was sweaty but safe cause you don’t know what kind of mold or fungus you can find in such places…

    • Worm eggs, bacteria & fungal spores are everywhere because the earth is meant to be alive everywhere. We humans have blasted, deforested, leaf-blowered & burned it into a dustbowl and sewagey flood, by turn. Plant native trees, wildlife feeding shrubs & flowers, & you’d be amazed how much less dust flies in the face.

  5. This is amazing, informative knowledge that you share with us Sir!
Thank you for helping us Doctor Berg, thank you so much!!

  6. I have Sjogrens, cutaneous lupus, asthma and eczema so was a ‘sitting duck’ for Covid and now have long covid. I’ve been working on gut health – a test showed I had virtually no beneficial bacteria and taking VitD but thank you so much for all this information. All the best and enjoy the festive holiday.

    • Work on that gut bacteria friend! So much research pointing to that guy micro biome! Add unsweetened yogurt, kimchi, refrigerated fresh pickles (Bubbies brand!) and cut out sugar as much as you can. Dr Bergs protocol is for real. Wishing you the best❤️😍

    • Denise , if you’ve added probiotics to your diet several times and yet they don’t form colonies ? There is something killing the microbial environment . Chlorine, iodine, copper, silver, vinegar, alcohol etc… stop killing your gut buddies and give them heathy fiber and lots of clean water and exercise . Find the source of toxins that are killing your microbes. Hint… what are you drinking?

  7. This video answers a lot of my questions, it explains a lot. Thank you so much.
It seems stress really is a huge player in the state of our health, perhaps even an underlying factor for most diseases. I’m very sorry for people who like myself are stuck in a really bad place with no chance of getting out any time soon. Stress can be so corrosive and destructive, especially when it starts wreaking havoc on a subconscious level it gets harder and harder to manage. Hopefully the suggested dietary changes will help, at least they are a bit more within my control.

  8. So many people are predisposed to these conditions and they don’t even know it. It’s a stroke of good luck to learn about our predispositions and then being able to prevent symptoms and feelings of unwellness. Informative video. Thank you.

  9. Stress is an internal killer! … Relaxing more, spending time doing things you love, and being with people who make you laugh is a quick list of remedies to work on too 😉👍✨

  10. The best protocol for Sjogren’s syndrome:
    1. Sweet wormwood
    2. Broccoli sprouts (sulforaphane)
    3. Sauerkraut
    4. Vitamin D
    5. Vitamin A (cod liver oil)
    6. Black currant seed oil
    7. Coconut oil
    8. Cordyceps mushroom

    Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿

  11. For my dry eyes, my physician recommended a petroleum based eye ointment. I used coconut oil instead. Worked great. Temporary blurry vision until oil dissipated.

  12. About Saurkraut- If you want probiotics to remain in it, get kraut that is cold processed or raw, NOT pasteurized. The pasteurization process heats the product up and this kills the bacteria, good and bad both. Read the labels as this will tell you if it is pasteurized or not.

  13. Autoimmune issues have been on the rise for years! I work with my hypnotherapy clients who suffer from them to counter excess stress responses and help them make dietary changes. Thanks for explaining the role of gut health in autoimmune function. The cells there also respond immediately to emotions, so learning how to regulate the emotional self results in helping to regulate the physical self.

  14. Dr. Eric Ji.. Namaste 🙏… I want to hear from U some things about Thailand’s Black Ginger extracts … And it’s health benefits.. Thanqu.. 🙏🏻

  15. I’ve got longcovid and it’s triggered all these things that you’ve mentioned today and more. I feel like I’m trapped in a nightmare.

  16. Thank you so much for this info. (I watch your channel a lot) My wife, 65, had undiagnosed Sjogrens for years and needless to say its a very frustrating disease with ever changing symptoms in many areas of the body. Recently, my daughter, 35, has been diagnosed with it. Due to its lack of popularity it seems research has been limited. We welcome any insight to controlling it better or maybe someday a cure. Again, thank you for your ambition to look beyond accepted medical diagnosis and care.

  17. Thank you so much for this Video on Sjogren’s Syndrome, I’ve been suffering with Sjogren’s Syndrome for the past 2 years.
