  1. I just wanted to FYI you on something that surprised me. I had genital warts appear a few years ago and had no idea I had contracted them. They appeared 2 years after my recent marriage so that was very surprising. The good news is that I noticed just a few days ago they have disappeared and can only contribute it to eating better. I thought I was stuck with them for the rest of my life.

    • I’ve had that stuff too. Tried cutting them of one time even, but they kept growing back. After a few years they disappeared, I can’t remember in relation to what tho

    • @Erminas Naujalis Appreciate the feedback! Thanks! I figured it might be the nightly Apple Cider Vinegar or something else in this much better diet.

    • Easily resolved at a sexual health clinic – takes five minutes – they often “appear” as men age, nothing to do with sexual contact outside one’s normal relationship.

    • @Spam Mouse Oh! Interesting. I was told there was no cure. Thanks for the info! I will definitely head to one should they reappear. Appreciate it!

    • @Barry Laminack Honestly mate it’s no big deal, they give a quick spray from a small can of liquid nitrogen (does not hurt) that kills the wart virus, makes the wart look white and crusty, the wart will drop off in a few days, the skin heals with no residual scar. No need for plaster/covering or creams. (Do not pick at the scab.) Yes, I have been through this, about ten years after getting married. Has not reoccurred. OK?

  2. Thanks a lot for this video Sir. Again very informative and well explained.
Sir we have nowdays a social problem called alcoholism. Some go to rehab and detoxify but some don’t. They keep on adding this dangerous habitual behaviour in their lifestyles.
I have a request if you can address this situation and help those who are addictive and want a advice on how to improve the system whilest leaving this bad habit gradually.
It will be really helpful to know what our body went through and how our digestive system works and what to add more in diet and vitamins to have a good energy levels.
Thank you again Sir for your work.

  3. Dr. Berg’s way of explaining the information is unmatched! I love the way he makes sense without overwhelming our minds or throwing in a thousand study publishing links! Without yelling at folks like… “believe this or you’re doomed!!!!” 🙌 HIGH FIVE DR. BERG!

  4. Dr Eric Berg, the 🐐 of medication, thank you for your commitment and consistency in making these videos… ❤

  5. This is a lot of good information. I’m going to have to watch this a few times to let it all sink in. Thank you Dr. Berg.

  6. This information would’ve change my life 20 years ago, all these years i’ve had minor digestive issues that worsens as i get older, everytime i went to visit a Dr. they quickly throw a prescription at me to relieve my symptoms and push me out the door instead of trying to investigate the root cause of my symptoms. i finally got fed up and started trying on countless digestive aid supplements and found that my symptoms get better when i take digestive enzymes in high dose. i ran to the Dr. office and told her and she did a blood lipase test and lo’ and behold result came back “pancreatic insufficiency”.

our healthcare system is a real tragedy.

    • Many comments from medical students later complain about the lack of nutritional studies and how nutrition effects symptoms. The profession is swapped with symptom control while overlooking how food acts as a medicine. The failed food pyramid is a great example of this as it relates to obesity rates and metabolic syndromes like acquired (type 2) diabetes, now neurological type 3 diabetes (aka Alzheimer’s). I believe our abilities to accurately guide a physician can literally change this industry (the potential to anyways). It can be argued that pharmaceutical companies have found a way to multiply profit thru biased research and extravagant conferences aimed at the medical profession (making them dependent in a way). Apologies for the digressions but I went thru diabetic nutrition classes and my problems only got worse (and I have a biomedical undergrad in cardiology and neurology) until reviewing LCHF with Dr Berg 8 months ago. Now the food industry is responding with faux Keto labeling which will only confuse more. Sorry about the rant, I just feel robbed after so many years of bad advice from govt, pharmaceutical and food industries

    • Kay, Your history sounds similar to mine, For the heads up on the test you got from your doctor. Can you please tell me what brand of digestive enzymes you take and how many. I’ve been taking the same brand of digestive enzyme and I’ve heard you’re supposed to switch it up now and then. Not sure what brand to try next. Any replies would be appreciated.

  7. Thank you so much for this video! I wrote you on your fan page about this very thing yesterday. Heartburn during keto and fasting. You are my hero and have given me my health back in so many ways with your information sharing. So much gratitude for you Dr. Berg!🙏💕

    • I find that sipping on apple cider vinegar after meals, especially mixing it into hot water helps a lot if you believe you have acid insufficiency. Avoid getting your kidneys and liver area cold after meals (bundle up!), chew slowly and throughly, try having something bitter and acidic in each meal (lime juice, sauerkraut, frisée, arugula…). I also take enzymes with ox bile and betaine (New Roots brand). There’s many things to suggest as I’m a Nutritionist who does keto/intermittent fasting, but the biggest thing which makes a difference avoiding reflux is definitely the apple cider vinegar after meals – or I squeeze a lime or two in water with a lil’ stevia, yum! 😊

  8. Three cheers for stomach acid! 🙌 Not only do you need HCl to activate pepsin, but you need the chyme leaving the stomach to be acidic in order to trigger enzyme release from the pancreas and bile release from the gallbladder. So, HCl is needed for ALL digestive enzyme function!

    • @Halima Shahab Betaine Hydrochloride, You can buy it quite cheaply in any health food store and Dr Berg recommends as many as four tablets before a meal or just as you start eating, but start with one. Namaste 🙏

    • @Tumbleweed UK well, it’s a little bit different, actually. HCl = Hydrochloric acid = naturally made stomach acid. Betaine HCl = a supplement that we often take to adjust/boost acidity in the stomach. Betaine by itself = Trimethylglycine (TMG) = a supplement that is sometimes used for methylation purposes.

    • @Tumbleweed UK Thank you very much for your prompt response I greatly appreciated Regards ! ! 🙏🇨🇦

  11. I’ve recently realized that I have Gastroparesis and began taking Digestive Enzymes. Between the Stomach and the Small Intestine, there is a small pouch that closes at the stomach end before opening at the small intestine end to let digested food pass into the small intestine, keeping the contents of the small intestine separate from the stomach. After having undiagnosed diabetes for many years, the nerve controlling the ring of muscle at the small intestine end has become paralyzed and the muscle ring doesn’t expand and open. And without the digestive enzymes needed to break my food down, the food collects behind that ring until my abdomen begins to ache, mildly at first but building in intensity over 24 hours. My stomach and that small pouch swell until the pain is so intense and relentless that I must force myself to vomit. I have learned to check the condition of my stomach pouch before it begins to ache. I can easily feel a rock-hard ball in my pouch the size of a baseball. At this point, it doesn’t ache and I am not aware of it unless I check by feeling it with my fingers. I will take two capsules with something easy to digest like greek yogurt or bone broth, and otherwise fast until that baseball in my gut has been digested and cleared out. So far, this has worked for me, I successfully avoided a crisis in mid-December. This morning I realized I’ve been forgetting to take the enzymes. I have a hard baseball-sized lump in my upper gut, left of center, just past my stomach. It’s time to test my theory again.

    • were you diagnose by the gastric emptying test? My wife is waiting for her test. She complains about a ball in her stomach too. She took Mebeverine and Metoclopramide which helped her stomach feel normal but couldn’t handle the side effects after a week. I have her taking pancreas digestive enzymes which seems to help. The doctor only diagnosed her with IBS but I suggested gastroparesis.

  12. I’m so glad you mentioned TUDCA! I hope you’ll make a whole video about it, as it has so many applications, is very safe to take and it’s been used in Chinese medicine forever… we need to hear more about it on this side of the pond! 🙌🏻🤗

  13. Dear Dr. Berg, you are truly a knowledgeable and wonderful doctor. Thank you for sharing this wealth of invaluable informations with us so simply and so clearly; it is a joy to watch and listen to you. You are so humble and honest and generous. Merci Dr. Berg, que Dieu vous garde et qu’il vous bénisse ainsi que toute votre famille. (3 March 2023)

  14. I could watch Dr. Eric’s videos all the day. I’ve gained so much awareness. You’re awesome sir!

  15. This covered so much in such an easy-to-comprehend manner. Your videos have been invaluable to me. Re: Tudca, I finally got some online after talking to numerous health outlets and having them say, “Huh? What’s that?” Curious that this supplement is so unknown to so many.

  16. This is a truly excellent lecture which should be taught to schoolchildren.

  17. You are a saviour. My father has been suffering from chronic constipation and symptoms are exactly what you have explained. Did colonoscopy, endoscopy CT scans for stomach pancreas gallbladder, nothing there. Seeing this video clears a lot of doubt

  18. Fascinating and important information. Now to figure out which labs to ask my Doc to order. 🙏 I can get to the bottom of my symptoms. Our digestive system is EVERYTHING. Thank you Dr Berg, your helping me speaking with my Doc, hopefully he’s considering my input in respect to my health. Surgeon, as far as my symptoms, she got nothing for answers other then advised me to try Metamucil. She said if we slow down digestion, my body would have more time to absorb calories and nutrients. Due the the nature of the surgery she did and now I’ve got issues I never had before. My digestive system is unbalanced and it’s affecting so many other things in my entire body. Again, seems to me that our digestive system isn’t separate from our bodies, it’s EVERYTHING. Yeah, I have malnutrition bc if I didn’t, I would be absorbing calories and nutrients. Stared with my stomach, ACV seems to definitely helping. Still need more answers… dealing with these Doc.s is exhausting. Believe it or not, I think my dentist is making the most sense, I’ve got gum disease and it needs to be addressed ( way to much bacteria within my gums ), as I chew and swallow, all that bacteria is going into my digestive system. Could very well be the root cause. Makes sense to me… still searching for answers. Thanks again Dr Berg, this is a intricate system and I’ve been doing a lot of research for months bc last face it, Doctors don’t have the time. They’re busy. LOL 😂

  19. I was not digesting my food and actually was becoming malnourished. I added digestive enzymes and I’m feeling so much better the bloat diarrhea/constipation fatigue and weakness have all sorted out. Thanks for all your great advice and knowledge Dr Berg
