  4. Just this morning I was pointing out to someone in the comments on another video that kefir and sauerkraut can assist in moderating anxiety in individuals that suffer chronically with elevated anxiety.
    I mentioned B-vitamins a lot for general mood issues as well as their anxiety.

  7. I am almost in disbelief of what a difference Kefir has made in my life. I started drinking it about 4 months ago because of what Dr. Berg had been saying about it. The digestive problems that I have been dealing with for the last 5 years are now gone. I also had cut out the sugary foods, bread products and I am eating cruciferous vegetables. However, when I started drinking Kefir it was, literally, an overnight change in my bowel problems. It’s incredible. Thanks, once again, for helping me through and rectifying another health problem.   11. So wonderful to have more of an understanding on this subject. I’m sure I have dysbiosis as I have colorectal cancer and have been struggling trying to heal my gut that still feels inflamed. Was taking a stronger probiotic but it seemed to upset my gut so stopped taking it. Just have had a hard time figuring out what I can tolerate and what is helping with healing.
    And this seems to be a bit of introduction to your possibility of information channel on farming which I’m anxious to hear about your discoveries!!

      i’ve put much effort on healing my gut and it just took one wrong choice of food i guess and its back to the crazy side 😩

    • Did you see Dr Berg’s recent video on Methylene Blue?
      I was interested in it and another viewer kindly suggested I read Mark Sloan’s book ‘The Ultimate Guide to Methylene Blue’.

      There are segments in the book that take in the conditions you mentioned and this substance looks promising regarding many inflammation-based, and metabolic disorders.

      At the end of one segment, on page 95 he (Sloan) does seem to go a little crazy, suggesting that a sterile gut (no microbes whatsoever) is an ideal situation – not really sure where he got that idea, but the rest of the book is pretty good.

      Regardless of how you proceed, I’m cheering you on for your recovery and wish you the very best in your quest for health.

    • Try fasting. I find eating a simple diet helps. I eat mostly big green salads with spinach, kale, carrots, zucchini, avocado with olive oil and some sort of fish like salmon or even shell fish.
      I don’t eat sugar or processed foods. I eat basically one meal a day. I may eat a few nuts later or maybe an apple. Mostly your gut just needs time to heal. So do some fasting. Start off with intermittent fasting and work up to a few days every so often. Drink water and some herbal teas. Drink some lemon or lime water in the morning.

  12. I wish that you were around 30 years ago sharing your knowledge on heath and how the body works! Better late then never. You are one of the best educators we have on human heath. Please don’t ever stop!

    • Thirty years ago nobody knew anything about the effects of having a diverse microbiome. One of the first people exploring this is Donna Schwenk from Cultured Food Life; she started some 22 years ago when she stumbled on the benefits of Kefir, Kombucha, and cultured veggies.

    • @Cachi – 30 years ago was the year 1993 and I was in the 4th grade at the time and my younger brother was turning 1 years old.

    • Dr. Rob Atkins was around 30 years ago promoting many of these same concepts! For his work, he was ridiculed and ostracized. Unfortunately this info is only being more accepted during past few years. Even still, it’s only a small minority of people who’ll seek out and accept this knowledge!

My daugher was in the hospital for a week we are waiting for the exams that she made…she was taking antibiotics was very agressive for her…your videos are helping her to recovery and know i want to get off the city and go to the contry to start growing my own food!     • Food as well as Drug Industries and health regulators are working together to squeeze local government and public.

    • 2004 I was given an antibiotic called levaquine for 10 days! On the fifth day it had destroyed the balance of my microbiome and I almost died! I developed systemic candida, when that happened it literally starts to eat you away and decompose YOU ! I went to the medical field for help but I just kept getting worse,then I met this guy at a whole food store and he directed me to a internal medical Doctor who practiced wholistic ways also! Well he started my road to a different knowledge that’s exists aside from big Pharma and the medical field. Forward to 2011 and I finally regained my health better than ever! What a ride what I did is too much to list here but I had to rebuild and replant my microbiome and it took many years! I’m 62 and built like a power house and full of energy beyond my teen years! I THANK LORD EVERY DAY FOR SHOWING ME

  15. I noticed when you were talking about sauerkraut you didn’t mention the importance of buying sauerkraut from the fridge section of the supermarket. Most sauerkraut that you find on the shelf loses most of it healthy microbes during the jarring process. You want to find the stuff that is unpasteurized. 😊

  18. Dr. Berg, if you created healthy keto certified restaurants, I would eat in them every day! It would save me a lot of time trying to find the right organic, grass-fed, wild-caught ingredients that I can trust and not worrying about them expiring so quickly or how to prepare them correctly to maximize the health benefits.
