How much protein / meat is in your OMAD in the afternoon?

Omad does not seem to have health benefits from the studies conducted so far, and meal in the evening have an even worse outcome in studies. If you’re doing fasting for anti aging, the 5:2 patern has more evidence behind it and fasting mimicking has even better research backing it, and is very favorable when it comes to preserving muscle. I thought this channel was evidence based?
What’s the 5:2 pattern?
Eat 5 days, fast for 2. Essentially, fasting patterns tend to be less effective the shorter the fasting period is. We have good evidence for fasting 2+ days, but the evidence for a daily fasting window is bad so far.

What about just eating some meat before the workout instead?
You can do that too but it’s a little heavier to digest

I eat carbs before workout, its much better, can get insane energy from carbs, and you spare your body from gluconeogenesis
What time were you working out? And we’re there any temporary side effects from having the protein shake as your body had adjusted to one meal a day?
